genetically engineered food health risks

We are what we eat. I'm sure you've heard that quote before. When you eat a tomato you eat its DNA. When you eat its DNA it becomes part of you. If the tomato has been genetically altered then you've become genetically altered. Thus the controversy behind genetically altered foods. You cannot change DNA once it becomes a part of you. It is a part of you and it is passed on to future generations. The genetic code has evolved over millions of years at its own pace. When you speed that process up over night, there are serious consequences, like cancer and disease. Which to this date, has no known cure. Cancer is mutated DNA.

Studies have shown that animals that are only fed genetically altered foods, have serious health problems. These foods have little vitamins and minerals because they're grown for size and have a longer shelf life. Studies have also shown, that when wild animals are given the chance, they avoid genetically altered food and only eat natural food.

Healthy living is always more expensive, but it's a worthwhile thing to pursue. You should do it for your self and your children's future. There are always healthy natural alternatives out there. Don't trust multi billion dollar corporations that disregard health risks for money.
